Day 2-3 - a day at sea

Two days at sea are a great time to relax and enjoy all the amenities and entertainment offered by the cruise liner. Spend time by the pool, participate in sports games or enjoy culinary delights in one of the restaurants on board.

Entertainment on board

  • Water park and swimming pools
That's right, seven pools. Each with a unique atmosphere, and all of them are free for guests (although one is available only for guests of suites... but more on that later). Let's start with Hideaway Pool, the world's first suspended infinity pool by the sea, surrounded by a multi-level sun terrace with a DJ, a jacuzzi, various recreation areas and its own bar. Next is Royal Bay, the largest pool on the sea with more than 40,000 liters of water, sun loungers right in the pool and a jacuzzi with stunning ocean views. If you like bars right in the pool, check out Swim & Tonic, the first such bar on board Royal Caribbean®. Water's Edge Pool is ideal for families with children in Surfside, and Cloud 17 is a quiet adults-only pool where you can enjoy cocktails at The Lime and Coconut Bar. Finally, Cove Pool is on the left side of the ship and offers stunning views of the open sea and a relaxing atmosphere for reading or listening to podcasts.

  • Spa and wellness area
Visit the spa, where you can enjoy massages, beauty treatments and aromatherapy. In the "Solarium" adult area you will find cozy pools, a relaxing atmosphere and a light sea breeze.

  • Game rooms and entertainment programs

Enjoy arcade games, karaoke and show programs in the theater. The ship also hosts culinary master classes and other activities for the whole family.

Cooking pleasures

There are many restaurants with different cuisines on board. You can try both international cuisine and exquisite desserts in cozy cafes and bars. In the evening, themed dinners and gastronomic discoveries are waiting for you.
Day 4 - Charlotte Amalia, St. Thomas
About the place

Charlotte Amalia on St. Thomas Island is the perfect combination of azure waters and colonial architecture. The island is famous for its white sand beaches and picturesque mountain views. Explore historical attractions such as Blackbeard Castle or go shopping at duty-free shops. Picturesque landscapes and diving opportunities await you here.

Local cuisine

Try local seafood dishes such as shellfish fries and refresh yourself with traditional tropical cocktails.
From 8:00 to 18:00
Day 5 - San Juan, Puerto Rico
About the place

San Juan is a place where history meets modernity. Take a walk through the cobbled streets of the Old Town, see famous forts such as El Morro, or go on a tour of the El Yunke rainforest. Puerto Rico is famous for its unique culture, which combines Spanish and Caribbean heritage.

Local cuisine

Enjoy traditional Puerto Rico cuisine by trying mofongo (fried banana puree) and local cocktails with rum.

Experience a surge of adrenaline in the largest water park on the sea or overcome the test of courage, soaring high above the ocean. Strengthen family ties with a lot of entertainment for everyone in Surfside℠, a family quarter where you can spend the whole day. And discover dishes for every taste with 40 different restaurants and bars. This is a real Icon of Rest℠.

WHAT IS "FREE" INCLUDED IN THE CRUISE ON ICON OF THE SEAS?
So, you are ready to book a trip on the biggest ship that has ever gone to sea. But what exactly is included in the Icon of the Seas℠ cruise?
At Icon of the Seas you will find a lot of amazing entertainment - from restaurants to shows, and many of them are included in the price of the cruise. However, with so many opportunities, it's easy to get lost. Here's a tip for you: start by finding out what's included in the price of the cruise and what's available for an additional fee. If you want to be on budget, knowing the free options will simplify your vacation planning.
The climbing wall is one of my favorite cruise entertainments. It is known for its stunning sea views. Located on the 16th deck in the Thrill Island area, where Icon of the Seas presents Adrenaline Peak - this is the highest level of climbing, where your pulse will increase on the way to the observation deck. There are even tracks for speed races. Adrenaline Peak is absolutely free for cruise guests - anyone over six years old can fasten up and climb as many times as they want.
On a sunny day, go to Splashaway Bay, a water park for young travelers. It was created specifically for toddlers and young children and offers many interactive water attractions and mini-slides. There are water cannons, fountains and pools for the little ones. Of course, the entrance to the water park is included in the price of the cruise.
Are you wondering which restaurants are free on Icon of the Seas? There are several options where each dish is free of charge. This is, for example, the family Surfside Eatery, where you can have a snack or try sweets. If you are staying in a suite, Coastal Kitchen and Grove restaurants are available to you. One of my favorite free restaurants is Sorrento's, which serves delicious pizza in pieces, and it's open until late at night - the perfect option after the party. For round-the-clock snacks, I recommend Pearl Café - this is the first such cafe on board, which is open 24 hours a day, offering coffee, pastries, sandwiches and snacks with a beautiful sea view. Park Café is another great free option where you can enjoy sandwiches and branded roast beef "Kummelvek".
Raise the level of entertainment with amazing live performances or listen to a duel of pianists at the Dueling Pianos℠ bar - this bar is the first time on board. Experience the spirit of competition with friends by playing darts, billiards or retro games. Or have a romantic evening, enjoying drinks under the stars and listening to the classics, before laughing at the stand-up show.
